He pretty much started it all, was so influential (buddy holly included). I'm a fan of his music and thought he had already passed yonks ago - made it to 90 having lived that life!
So many guitarists, especially making a name for themselves in the 60/70's, all admired or were inspired by Chuck Berry. |

The term legend often gets overused but in the case of Chuck Berry it doesn't even come close to describing the influence this man and his music had on the evolution of rock music. A stellar career...
