well after replacing the windscreen for the BA ford (i bought it with several chip so I new I would have to replace it) I decided to have some form of insurance
As it is only 3 party accident i decided to buy some of the windscreen repair kits on ebay $10 each so I bought 2 even if I had insurance i cannot get a star chip replaced as no one does it here that I know of simple but effect way of stopping a crack developing does any one else have carry this repair kit in the car and do they work?

the permatex ones are junk since they changed them, the videos online show a decent amount of fluid in the tube, in real life there wasnt even enough for a regular sized drop and you cant even get it down the tube, there is that little fluid that the drip running down the tube runs out before it even hits the glass
supplier fobbed off the issue when i showed them the difference between advertised product and real product and iv seen it in about 5 kits now |
