Hey, it certainly use to be the case. However i've heard of a few cases recently where no jack or spare were required.

Is it a manufacturer type thing? A guy at work had a beema and no spare or jack fitted from factory, but has run flat tyres from factory.. Yet has aftermarket 20's.. Legal???

I'm asking because a car I have recently purchased from a dealer had no jack included, the handles are there, just not the jack itself.

Wouldn't hurt to spend round about $50 on a trolley jack before getting a roadworthy. Saves dramas all round

Oh these blokes are dodgy alright, say one thing, not do anything, say something else, not do anything, tell me I'm shoot outa luck and then continue to do nothing.
There are reputable dealers around, people who are straight up and forthright. They're in Business, they have to turn a quid and I'm prepared to pay that bit extra for the convenience of shopping there for a used vehicle. But when waves of bluff and ******** get fired at you after dropping $80k on a car......that really gives me the irrits.
