lol.

I guess people just need something to believe in, ultimately wanting other "forces" to fix their life rather than them getting off their butts and doing it themselves.

My Psychic ability tells me this thread may not last long!

All a bunch of mumbo jumbo if you ask me! If you listen to yourself, and make choices from that, you only have yourself to blame if things go wrong. We all create our own future.

I don't want any batwinged, looking hippie telling me how I should find my happiness. I know where my happiness is.

A nice hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning....oh yeah!

Why?

It makes more sense and has more to do with Ford than over half of the rubbish that has appeared on here in the last few months courtesy of the same small group of harbingers and hammer bearing verdigrisian malcontents....

WHAT? What part of it has to do with Ford? Was Henry or Edsel Ford somehow wonderous psychics or something?

Well actually I may just take that back....not sure if they were psychics but they sure were visionaries.

Now, please keep the noise down. I am trying to conduct a seance to connect with Pottery's lost beer.

Hey Pottery, for $4.95 per minute, I will tell you what your future holds!

A wasted 3 minutes and I will be $14.85 richer!

It's a bunch of twaddle.
I've always kept an open mind to anything like that, yet I've never had even a shred of evidence provided.

Tests have been conducted, challenges made, to date nothing has even looked like it could come close to being anything other than coincidence or guesswork.

For some interesting reading as to how these charlatans work, look up cold/hot reading.

Took your advice and looked it up.

There's plenty of info out there on how they gather information, it's also interesting to hear about so called readings that cold_hot techniques can't explain.. I don't 'think' I believe at this stage, although i'm fairly open minded.

Some information at the below link and an interesting university study spoken about at the bottom of the page.

True story, a friends wife (only been married a year) went to one of these shysters and she was told her marriage wasnt going to last.

He comes home from work and she's packing her cases, he asks what's going on and she told him what the clairvoyant said, and walked out saying she'd rather split up now instead of down the track when they've got kids.

So I guess it was true in the end, but he was pretty shattered at the time.

wonder if he would have a case to sue for damages, trauma etc he should be sued to the hilt and bankrupted maybe then he would stay out of peoples private lives

Well T&C precludes racism so how else can you politically correctly refer to those with green skin......although looking back hammer and gamma appear to be juxtaposable
