Default Just spotted this beauty

Saw this in my local paper today. It's a real blast ftom the past seeing these old girls turn up in a car yard once in a while, makes a change from all the new age stuff. They had a nice XB a few months ago too.

This car yard is a well known and big Ford dealership in Perth, I've got nothing to do with it by the way, or the car, just thought it was interesting.

Nice looking XW there, would be a nice surprise walking in and seeing one of these instead of a plastic bumper econobox. I saw a similar condition XW ute in a Ford dealership showroom window in country SA a couple of years ago, couldn't get a close look because it was a sunday. bet it stirred up some interest.

They have made a big mistake with the miles on the clock. Got it listed with 210,000 but they have misread the odo. It is 21,000 miles. You only have to look at the condition, inside and out, to see that it is a VERY low mileage car. Fantastic car for that money. Hope it goes to a home that will keep it original as you won't get a much better example.

Well spotted.

Gaela

The precedent of stripping weight and using full slicks was set years ago now.

So if you want to beat em, ya gotta join em, and being manual makes the time even more credible.

Either they were correct in that it has 210,000 miles or the odometer will only go to 99,999 miles.

Love it, I would keep that original if I had the spare cash to buy it.

I did consider that but the condition, inside and out , contradicts that theory. A car with that many miles, in original condition, would not look like this.
I would also love it and hope that it is not lowered and 'blessed' with chrome bling wheels. Shuddering at the thought.

Very nice! That needs to be preserved, I can see some idiot buying it and lowering it, changing the wheels, putting in racing seats etc. There should be laws about this!

I see a future lined with conversion to a GS/GT replica!

Edit: Please note, I would definitely keep it 100% original
