About a year ago my uncle had his bobcat stolen. anyway somebody gave us some info about where it was, so we told the police the address and they went straight around there and the bobcat was there. so apparently they left and went back 2 hours later and it was gone...they havent seen it since. we keep getting infomation of people who live in the street that they have and seen it. we tell the police to go there because its there but they tell us we need proof, even though they have seen it there themselves : then we went to the area ourselves a few weeks later and it wasnt there and we had heard that the cops were gonna do a raid on the place, we told them not to because it wasnt there at the time. the next day they did it anyway. now we dont think they have it any more. I think if anything they have only ruined any chances of us getting the machine back. :

Understand you and your family's frustration, but it's not fair tarnishing all coppers with the same brush.
All legal avenues have to be taken for them to be busted before they go in willy nilly taking eveything and arresting people because someone said they flogged something. You have to look at from their side also, they have to be 100% sure and be in accordance with the law before acting Dont take this personally, but this thread will be closed, not just for a) the thread title, but b) as there is a huge history of cop bashing threads that turn into one big argument |
