Default Interests other than Cars?

I think we've done this before but what are your main interests outside of cars and work? For me it's music, love my bass guitars and really enjoy playing music.

I like long walks in the park, candlelit dinners,... hang on...wrong site

I occasionally play substitute guitarist in a band, love fishing, making stuff (might try kite making, after taking the kids kite flying today) and making stuff work, computers (of course), and shit loads of other stuff, too.

I have lots of different interests. I love playing around with and building PC's and other new gadgets. PC games I tend to get addicted to until I finish it, I used to do a fair bit of work with Paint Shop Pro but haven't done anything for a while.

I love arts and crafts, sewing (patchwork), cross stitch, restoring furniture, big scrapbooking fan.

Love my music, photography, reading, watching documentaries. I think my favourite would have to be anything medical though, if I could get paid to study for the rest of my life I'd be at Uni. I already owe enough in HECS as it is though, I don't think that will stop me going back and doing another Bachelors or getting another Diploma in something. :

Love spending time with the GF and goind to the pub with mates. Also a big fan of fishing and camping. Not to mention anything mechanical that I can ride or drive.

Did you just buy a basic kit, and if so, do you mind sharing how much?

Sorry for all the Q's.

yeah i bought a basic kit...5 piece ludwig cost me $800. I don't know if I'll get good enough to warrant a better kit. For now it is just for my spare time (not much of that).

Ah drums. Good fun even when you dont know how to play. Just smash em and see what beats you can get goin. I did music in high school (compulsory in P.E. for ****s sake) and we had to play the drums as part of assessment. I just went wild and said **** it its not like it was goin to get me anywhere in the real world. A lot of coordination required. I sucked real bad lol. Too busy chatting to my mates and chicks to actually learn it lol. I remember my teacher saying if you hang round the girls too much your grades are gonna go down. I was like **** it theyre hot so who gives a shit
