1stly, welcome..
For me it would depend on the condition of said vehicle's and price ?
Do you have two such vehicle's in mind that you are trying to choose between or is it just a general question ?.

Force 8.
Very unique car that will hold its resale value.

The DJR320, whilst a great car, is still only an XR8.

Force 8, one's a modified XR8, the other a factory produced FPV....

Id go the DJR320 because Force 8's weren't available in manual and the DJR is something different and the brakes are a thing of beauty. Id be proud to own either car though

as soon as i read the OP i was like force 8 hands down, then this post reminded me what my mind had blocked out... the sad fact they didnt drop the T56 into this car, this car would have sold so much more with this option and would it really have been that hard for ford to add???

Wellcome to FFA.

Not to sure as to what you are asking. That is quite a expansive question. Sort of line the old gag of "How Long is a piece of string?"

Are you looking to buy or is this a Hypothetical Question? If its to buy, what are your plans for it?

Both are just a case of personal taste. Im not sure myself. The 320 is a rare car, it has character, 320 killerwasps, & special stuff that only ever came with a DJR 320. Im not sure on its build numbers though.

A Force 8 is a beautiful car. Damn Luxurious & has the get up & go of a GT. Wouldnt take much to also have 320kw. Its rare, not very many F8's around. I certainly have a soft spot for them.

If it were me, Id probably be grappling with the decision of the choice. They are both desirable cars. I would definitley go after "The Better Car". By that I mean, the better cared for, maintained, conditioned car. Even if it is slightly more expensive. Id rather have a car thats a little less collectable, but immacualate & was a bit more expensive, than have the average car that I have to fix & replace things. Before I bought, I would factor in rego, insurance, maintaince fuel, & usage compared to my current ride to establish a baseline that either, (either one, or even one of either at all) I can afford, & keep without heartache & the wife going off her tree......

Unless I was to seriously go bezerk on it. & With either of those cars, me, personally I wouldnt. Maybe add a bit of power, trick out a few small things, but thats it. In saying that, The Force 8 is my pick. It has so much more over the 320.

Wow - tough question. (made harder by a lack of information)

What do you want? (not which one - what do you want in/from the car)
What are you planning on doing with it? (weekend toy, second car, weekend racer, collectable?)

For me, a 302 BFII Force 8 would be a nice weekender/cruiser/toy.
If I was going to mod/race, the DJR would be my pick.

Both of these cars are bloody rare. I've never seen a force 8 on the road and i've only ever seen one DJR. If you're stuck with this choice I envy you.

funny that

In all seriousness, it would be a very hard decision for me however it would probably be the DJR320 that would end up in my garage too.

Djr 320 for sure. Class and style all the way... Lets face it, it look tuff and it is definately unique.
Ask yourself this question ? How many Fpv kitted cars do you see around? Compare that to the DJR 320......

Yeap 320 all the way. Buying a fpv just it's factory doesn't mean much. Give herrod the equal opportunity and they will build something just as good.

The djr is rarer still, arguably looks better, goes, brakes and handles better so why take the force? Warranty is running out with the force so there goes that advantage. Plus I'd rather be asking herrord/djr for help when something goes pop than fpv.

In saying that IMO the main difference is the transmission, a zf force is a nice car but as covered no manual rules it straight out for me.

FORCE 8 290 would be my pic.

One of those plus a posi supercharger, intercooler, exhaust and fuel system.

Yummy.

It would go like a rocket, look sensational, drive beautifuly, be comfortable and quiet, subtly going about it's business.

And the cost would be very very attractive compared with anything new imo.

65k you could have a true weapon in silk glove.

i llove the djr wheels, but that tupperware on the bonnet ruins it for me, cheapens what is a classy look.

Mmm tough decision........

I love the stealth look and the F8 is damn noice BUT right now I'd pick the DJR.
Why ?
BBS staggered fit wheels < top quality high priced wheels
Alcon 6 - 4pots
Matched coils - aided with Adj Konis and a lower stance......
