Hi all,
I've tried Haynes manual steps, every online step and YouTube video I could find and still can't get my steering wheel airbag released. I can push the pins in but when I pull the airbag out it does not release. Can someone please give me some guidance?

You do realise you have to actually use a Stanley knife to cut away the cover?
From the WSM: Depending on the vehicle variant, steering wheels with a different design for cut marks can be fitted

Hi Russell, yes that I have done as per Haynes manual procedure and YouTube videos. I can stick something in and push back the latch...but no cigar - it does not allow the airbag to come out when I pull on it. Any ideas?

Ressellw, how do you get your airbag out? Is it just pushing straight in onto the spring leaver to release it?
