Can someone please tell me where the bolts are to remove the front bumper bar on the AU. I can't find them. Or if anyone has any links to pics showing where they are, would be much appreciated.
Thanks

You have to remove the plastic clips that hold the plastic inner guard liner in place, then get your hand inside the plastic and they are just inside that (sort of right in front of the front wheel). There is an article in the workshop section of aufalcon . com that explains this a bit better (I hope).

Hey Krissy,
My XR has two nuts which need to be removed inside either side of the boot. You have to remove the side carpets and undo the two nuts. Remove the clips from around the wheel arch, and the rivet under the rear in the centre of the bumper. Drill it out through the bumper so as to be sure not to drill thru your spare tyre. Hope this helps. Cheers, Mike |
