There's a lot of beer out there, some worthy of drinking, some worthy of shaking up and replicating a marcos ambrose podium presentation.
personally, i am a big fan of coopers pale ale and carlton cold. Interested to know everyone elses top choice. Please no one say west end draught! |

I agree...A mate always sends ne a case of Crownies every year for doing his tax....I drink it of course, but not my preferred drop ....Cascade or Boags premium are far better brews

Crown = Fosters , well maybe? I think I once heard that crown lager is the "cream" off the top of the Fosters brew? Anyhow, for graft & payment purposes, a slab of crownies is like giving or receiving gold compared to a slab of VB or Fosters |

Beer's gruesome... but if it's all they've got I'll drink it :
If I have a choice, it's Becks.

Guiness followed by Caffreys followed by Bass Pale Ale followed by James Squire Amber Ale. Most of what comes from CUB is shite, we make some of the worst beers in the world and what's worse, we're proud of them...???

Carlton Draught is the best beer in Aus, followed by VB, crownies are over rated Carlton draught i reackon, plus the CD tastes so much better, Cascade is very nice in Premium form!

theres hundreds of beers out there so yeah you've missed alot out :p and you forgot interstate beers like... XXXX or EMU Bitter... anyway carlton draught is my fav.. also vb is high up there.
Edit: cascade premium is another fav as well... and agreed crownies arent that great.. they're smooth but i wouldn't call them a premium beer. theres nothing special about them. Last edited by neb; 01-05-2005 at 11:12 PM. |

A rare one (only had it in Hobart) is Cascade Draught. That was a bloody nice beer.
Usually I settle for Carlton Colds now.

You've forgotten some of the best beers in SA!
Stuff Pale Ale, Coopers Sparkling Ale = best. Then Coopers Heritage Ale is good if you wanna get stonkered, but Coopers Vintage Ale is the definate Penfold Grange of Beers... 7.5%, its fantastic!

Casper - Cascade draught is certainly over here, if I can get it in Geelong safeway Im sure you can get it where you are. Its not bad and is the same price as Vb etc. Ill go with Carlton Draught for an everyday beer. Im sorry but VB is terrible. Crown is overated, and Elephant beer rocks but costs to much..lol Ok I think thats all of it.
