Most of the time abandoned cars are parts only cars as the auction house doesn't have ownership of the vehicle to be able to sell it.

Nice find. Thanks for posting.

I just read the auction blurb.. it says "Please assume the vehicle does not have keys

DAMAGE CONDITION - The vehicle has. - WTF does that mean? The pics don't show much, if any damage -

Very Good Condition Interior And Exterior.

Mechanical damages unknown.
Autorola will not be liable for any extra, missed or wrongly described damages."

Hmm, I'd love it, but buying something with a possible banged motor and or trans makes this an expensive gamble. Be ok if I had one already, and like FAT Bob said, use it as a parts / donor vehicle.

Cheers,

One Man.

Looking closer, that supercharger kit is worth $15k alone.

And that pully looks smaller than stock (8psi) so I would suggest it could be running 12psi+.
What does a 5.4 make with that much boost? 600-700hp?

Are viewings allowed? That would help determine if it was grenaded. Who lives nearby?

I just tried to sign up to become a bidder.. Need an ABN, so I finished my ABN application from sometime ago and realised why I didn't complete it..

Hmm, that's a lot of clams for something I won't use much..

OK, the 2nd thing I did was to see if pre bidding inspections are available.
Their website (Autorola) says this:

2.3.3 Before accepting delivery, the buyer is entitled to investigate whether the car matches the seller's description.

2.3.4 If the buyer discovers inconsistencies between the car and the seller's description of the car, the buyer is entitled to a reasonable reduction in the price or, alternatively, to cancel the sale all together. This does not impact on Autorola.com.au's right to a commission.

It doesn't say where or how to view it. I'm guessing you would need to call them on: 03 9020 0820

Next up is some more crud I just read on the Autorola website, which rules me, and I'm guessing, a lot of you guys out.

Here's the rub:

How do I become an approved dealer?

There is no charge to become an approved dealer. Before you can bid, you must become an approved Autorola.com.au dealer. This is to ensure that only car dealers and authorised car dealers get access to bidding at the auction. To be approved, you must enter relevant user information, needed later when you are logged in and buying at auction. Once you have entered this user information, we will conduct a background check to ascertain whether you are a listed dealer, (e.g. via your LMCT number) approval is then granted/rejected.

So, it's only for trade bids. Us mere mortals that are cashed up need not apply... unless you can use a mates account.

Dam and blast. I was going to throw some money at it.

Hope this answers all of your questions peoples.

One Man.
