simple things in life, first cuppa, fresh hot thick slice of bread and a beautiful sunrise.
took a lump out of the palm of my hand today, which was fun, using a set of "super jaws" ( basically a large, foot operated press) to cold forge a set of large hinges from 2" X 1/4" flat steel and a 3/4" rod,
flat steel flew out one way, rod flew the other, slogging hammer left my hand at a rapid rate of knots just missing my left leg and my palm went into the fast closing jaws, all in less than the blink of an eye.
took a piece out of my hand roughly 1 and a half inches long by 1" high by 1/2" deep.
didn't think much of that!

Hope your palm is alright? It sounds bad and like it would hurt a whole lot!
