2. Precedent. IMHO, it sets a dangerous precedent. Allowing the government to filter what is essentially the last truly free medium is not a good thing.... we're a liberal democracy, not an oppressive regime. Classify information if you like, allow end-users to block content, but the government indiscriminately blocking content it deems 'inappropriate' is not a good thing.

Totally agree, but it's a start at least in the right direction, they might realise there are ways around it and decide it's a waste of money. Doubtful I know but it's better than nothing.
